Commitment

Afazeres Curiosos - Unip, Lda strives to provide a clear and usable digital experience for the greatest possible number of people.

The goal is to progressively improve content, navigation, forms, and interactive components, including how they work with a keyboard, magnification, and assistive technologies.

Adopted standards

We adopt WCAG 2.2, level AA as our technical benchmark. Where applicable, we also consider the European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1, which currently incorporates WCAG 2.1 success criteria.

Important: citing a reference or a target is not the same as declaring conformance. A conformance statement requires a full assessment and current evidence for every page and state covered.

Status measured in September 2026

The previous version of this page was based on an April 2026 assessment. Because the website has received relevant changes since then, the results and counts from that assessment no longer reliably represent the current state.

In our most recent public measurement, the following elements were observed, among others:

  • page accessible over a secure connection and with a normal server response;
  • search in the header, main navigation, and language identification;
  • structure with a main heading and contact links;
  • visual adaptation for desktop, tablet, and mobile provided for in the theme;
  • a public path for submitting technical requests, which must be included in the next form assessment.

These points are observations, not a certification of the full website.

What still needs validation

How evaluation should be conducted

Assessment must combine automated testing tools with task-oriented human evaluation. No automated tool, in isolation, proves accessibility compliance.

  1. Scan pages and technical components using automated accessibility testing tools.
  2. Perform complete user workflows using keyboard-only navigation.
  3. Test real tasks with NVDA and VoiceOver.
  4. Verify text scaling, reflow, screen orientation, and multiple viewport resolutions.
  5. Log every identified issue with URL, current state, severity level, and proof of fix.
  6. Publish an updated date and verifiable status report following evaluation.

Legal framework and service evolution

The legal framework depends on the nature of the services actually made available, the contracting path, and the size of the company. Portuguese Decree-Law no. 82/2022 includes e-commerce services but provides an exception for microenterprises providing services.

Therefore, this page describes the work done and the accessibility objective, without presenting it as a fulfilled legal obligation. The framework must be reviewed when contracting, acceptance of proposals, or payments are launched directly on the website. Beyond the applicable minimum obligation, Afazeres Curiosos maintains accessibility as a quality objective.
