Clear scope. Transparent relationships.
Terms and Conditions
The rules for using the website and how requests, proposals, and future online services become a contractual relationship.
Browsing the website does not create a contract. A service only begins after scope, price, and terms are accepted via the means specified in the proposal.
1. Identification
This website is provided by Afazeres Curiosos - Unip, Lda, NIPC 515862789, with registered office at Rua Professor Egas Moniz, n.ΒΊ 10, 1.ΒΊ Dto., 2640-477 Mafra, Portugal.
Contact: geral@afazerescuriosos.pt Β· +351 21 145 1077.
2. Website use
The website presents the activities, services, and contact channels of Afazeres Curiosos. Browsing is subject to these terms, but does not constitute, by itself, acceptance of a proposal or formation of a service contract.
Users must use the site lawfully, without compromising security, availability, or third-party rights.
3. Technical information
Public content is general and informative. It does not replace a case-specific study, survey, design, audit, inspection, or a contracted opinion. Standards, prices, and solutions may change; we confirm the applicable elements within each proposal.
4. Requests, forms, and digital assistants
Forms and assistants may guide navigation, gather information, organise documents, and help define the appropriate channel. Preliminary information does not constitute a binding proposal or contracted technical deliverable.
Users must provide accurate and sufficient information. When necessary elements are missing, we may request clarification or redirect the request to the appropriate service.
5. Proposals and contract formation
A contract is only formed when Afazeres Curiosos presents a proposal detailing scope, deliverables, exclusions, price, timeline, and terms, and that proposal is accepted via the specified method. Where applicable, commencement may depend on payment, award confirmation, or delivery of the necessary elements.
Scope modifications require written confirmation and may adjust price and schedule.
6. Distance contracts and online services
When the website offers online contracting and payment, the service description, total price, payment method, time frame, performance conditions, cancellation policy, and legally applicable rights will be presented before acceptance.
If a consumer asks for the service to begin during the statutory withdrawal period, the express request required by law will be collected and the effect of that decision will be explained. The applicable rules depend on the nature of the service and the capacity in which the person enters into the contract.
7. Pricing, payments, and billing
Applicable prices and taxes are stated in the proposal or checkout screen. Available payment methods may include card, Multibanco reference, MB Way, or bank transfer. Bank transfer payments are considered received only upon bank reconciliation.
Invoices are issued using the details provided by the client and retained for the periods required by law.
8. Client information and cooperation
The client is responsible for the lawful use of the documents they send, the accuracy of the information provided, and obtaining the necessary authorisations. Time frames and conclusions may depend on receiving complete information on time.
Document-based online consulting does not include a visit, measurement, test, design, or certification unless the proposal expressly states otherwise. When the case requires those actions, a different scope will be presented.
9. Intellectual property
Content and visual elements belong to Afazeres Curiosos or are used under licence. They may not be reproduced or exploited beyond legal limits without authorisation. Rights in technical deliverables follow the proposal and applicable law.
10. Availability and liability
We strive to maintain website accuracy and uptime, but service interruptions, maintenance, or errors may occur. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor limits mandatory consumer rights.
External links are provided for convenience. Each external entity is responsible for its content and services.
11. Privacy
Personal data processing is detailed in our Privacy Policy, and cookie preferences can be adjusted in the dedicated panel.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
You may contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp, or through the Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamaçáes Eletrónico).
Consumers may refer disputes to the Lisbon Consumer Disputes Arbitration Centre (Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa), competent for the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, including Mafra, without prejudice to any other legally competent entity.
13. Applicable law, amendments, and contact
Portuguese law applies. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts having territorial jurisdiction under Portuguese law, preserving mandatory consumer rights.
We may update these terms. The current version indicates the update date; a change does not retroactively modify a previously accepted proposal, except by agreement or legal requirement.
