ITED design for a house, step by step
The ITED design of a house defines its telecommunications infrastructure (conduits, cables, cabinet and outlets) according to the ANACOM ITED Manual. It is required for new houses and for works subject to a licence or prior notification.
Step by step
- Architecture: we start from the house plans and the use of each room.
- Telecommunications points: we define the outlets in each room, according to the ITED Manual in force.
- Conduits and cabinet: we size the conduits, boxes and the individual telecommunications cabinet (ATI).
- Connection to public networks: we plan the cable entry and the route to the ATI.
- Submission for licensing: written description, drawings and the designer's statement of responsibility.
- Works and certification: the installer carries out the installation and issues the ITED certification.
Who prepares the design
A designer registered with ANACOM, who signs the statement of responsibility. The installation is then carried out and certified by a qualified installer.
